Will it cost me to use my phone to make transactions with Barclaycard Anywhere?

Your card reader sends transaction information to Barclaycard using the data service onyour mobile device so please ensure that you have a data plan enabled.The amount of data sent for a basic transaction is around 50KB (this includes logging into the Barclaycard Anywhere app, processing a transaction and sending an electronicreceipt). That means you can do up to 20 transactions for 1MB.

If you exceed your data usage, there may be charges from your network provider, pleasecontact them for more information.

If you choose to add photos to the payment message or select multiple productswith images, then the file size may be slightly higher. Images sent by the BarclaycardAnywhere app are compressed to minimise data usage.
