You can set up automated payments to pay your Amazon Barclaycard by Direct Debit. You can also make extra payments either by transferring from your Barclays account or using any UK debit card.
A Direct Debit can be set up for either:
- Your full statement balance
- A fixed amount of your choosing (Set an amount that covers at least your minimum payment amount)
- Your minimum payment for the month. The minimum payment is really a safety net to help you avoid late payment charges. Ideally, you should still pay more than the minimum each month if you can. This will reduce your balance faster, which means you'll pay less interest overall.
You can set up, change or cancel a Direct Debit in your app. Select your account on the homepage and then select 'Manage' You can then choose 'Direct Debit' to set up or manage your payments.
