You don't need to order a new card reader if you have the app. You can use Mobile PINsentry in the app instead.

PINsentry devices are universal, so if you already have access to one from another bank or someone owns one in your household, you can use it to authorise payments instead of ordering a new one.
If you prefer a handheld card reader, you can contact us to order a PINsentry. We'll deliver the card reader to your registered UK address, and you should get it within five working days. We don’t usually charge you for a replacement card reader.
PINsentry and the Amazon Barclaycard
We don’t issue PINsentry devices for Amazon Barclaycards because we provide secure authentication using Mobile PINsentry on the app, which eliminates the need for a physical device.
If you need an audio accessible PINsentry device, just send us a message from the ‘Help’ section of our app or contact us – we’re here Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 6pm.
