You can set up a Direct Debit in Barclaycard online servicing. Once you've logged in, simply select 'Direct Debit' under 'Payments' in the top menu.

To set up a Direct Debit, you'll need the bank name, account number, and sort code of the account you're paying from. You must be the account holder and the only person required to authorise debits from the account.

If you have a joint account where two or more signatures are required to set up a Direct Debit, you’ll need to send us a request form signed by all account holders. You can download the form here. Once you've requested the Direct Debit, it’ll take up to 10 days to be activated. As soon as it is, we'll send you a letter to confirm. Please ensure you make any payments that are due before then.

Log into, or register for Barclaycard online servicing. Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Services Team, or use the ‘Call us’ feature within your Barclaycard app. Call charges may apply.

You can set up a Direct Debit using the Barclaycard app. If you already have the Barclays app, you can also do it from there.

You can then take your pick from three payment options:

• The full balance
• A fixed amount, which is at least your minimum payment
• The minimum payment.
